An official new charity bear unlike any other

Today, The Royal British Legion is an enduring symbol of reflection, hope and care. This evocative bear represents the thousands of men and women who, in two world wars and in countless conflicts since, have valiantly served their country and sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Around every Remembrance Day, we particularly notice The Royal British Legion members out collecting. Dignified men and women, in their distinctive berets and proudly wearing their medals, distributing poppies to raise money for the vital support they give to other ex-Servicemen and women in need, every single day of the year. They are brave men who might have been at D-Day or the Falklands; fearless women who might have driven ambulances in the Blitz or been frontline nurses in Korea. This unique, heart-warming bear pays tribute to each and every one of them. Especially as, for each bear sold, £5 will be contributed to support the essential welfare work of The Royal British Legion.
You'll see that this bear too, proudly wears his Royal British Legion felt beret, complete with leather trim and a felt poppy, The Royal British Legion's cherished symbol of Remembrance. His silky fur is made from the finest, 100% golden mohair and on his chest he displays a gleaming miniature medal, complete with authentic ribbon signifying dark blue for the Navy, red for the Army and light blue for The Royal Air Force. He is fully jointed and his nose and mouth have been lovingly hand-sewn in black thread.
For collectors, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity Your official Royal British Legion 'Poppy Bear' will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Oliver Holmes, the Managing Director of Merrythought and by Rinalda.
